# New: Motion Graphics Videos

> Create expressive animated videos with Claude, then open the same project in Pictory 3.0 to keep editing.

> [!TIP]
>
> **A new level of visual storytelling in Pictory for Claude.** Turn your ideas into scenes with
> animated text, charts, diagrams, and imagery, all directed through conversation. Your video
> also becomes an editable project in Pictory 3.0, ready for you to make it your own.

## Give your ideas movement

Motion graphics make the design part of the story. Emphasize an important word as the narrator
says it. Reveal a chart as you explain a result. Guide your audience through a process with
moving shapes, labels, and diagrams.

That control over what appears, when it moves, and how each scene develops helps you create
videos with clearer explanations, stronger visual emphasis, and a more polished feel. It is
especially useful for product explainers, educational videos, business presentations, and
social content where every moment needs to communicate something.

## A look shaped around your story

Describe the style you want, such as clean and professional, bold and energetic, or warm and
playful. Claude helps you carry that direction through the scenes.

* **Make key ideas stand out.** Use animated headlines, comparisons, charts, and diagrams to
focus attention on the point you are making.
* **Bring the visuals and narration together.** When you include a voice-over, the animation
can follow the spoken words so each reveal arrives at the right moment.
* **Keep your brand recognizable.** Choose a Brand Kit 2.0 from Pictory 3.0 to bring its colors,
fonts, logo, and other brand choices into the video, or choose None for a fresh direction.
* **Choose the media that fits.** Use stock images and footage, AI-generated images and video,
a mix of both, or let text and graphics tell the story on their own.

## Make the video sound and feel right

Choose a narrator or make a video without voice-over. Add one music track throughout, choose
tracks for individual scenes, or leave some scenes silent. Choose transitions between scenes,
or keep simple cuts.

Motion graphics uses **Brand Kit 2.0, the brand kit available in Pictory 3.0**. Claude shows
these kit choices early so you can select the one that fits this video or choose None. Legacy
brand kits used for standard videos are separate and do not appear in this selection.

A selected kit can bring its intro and outro into the project as well as its colors, fonts,
logo placement, and tone of voice.

For AI-generated media, choose images, video clips, or both, then select the models you want
to use. With a mix of stock and AI media, Claude chooses what fits each scene within your
preferences. If AI Credits are insufficient, Claude asks you to choose an affordable
alternative, stock media, or graphics alone so you can continue the same project.

## Finalize your story before creation

> [!NOTE]
>
> Finalize the narration text, narrator, music, and number of scenes before Claude creates the
> project. Once it is created, Claude can refine the visual design, including text on screen,
> layouts, colors, and media. Revisions through Claude cannot change the narration, narrator,
> music, or scene count in that existing project.

## Create in Claude, continue in Pictory 3.0

Your motion graphics video is saved as a project in your connected Pictory account. Alongside
the preview, Claude provides a project link. Open it to continue working in the
**Motion Studio editor in Pictory 3.0**.

The scenes and design are already there. You can refine text, adjust the layout, and edit
visuals directly in Pictory 3.0 without rebuilding the video. Start with the speed of a
conversation, then use the editor for the finishing touches you want to make yourself.

Sign in to Pictory 3.0 with the same account you connected to Claude to open your project.

In Claude, the preview opens beside the conversation when a browser pane is available. You
also receive a preview link to review or share. When the finished video is ready, you receive
links to watch, share, and download it.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Free Trial videos include Pictory branding.** Pictory adds a watermark to the scenes and a
> Pictory-branded outro when the video is rendered. This outro is added by Pictory for Free Trial
> accounts, separately from any outro in your selected Brand Kit.

## Try your first motion graphics video

> Using Pictory, create a motion graphics video about the advantages of AI in a job search.
> Use animated headlines and simple diagrams, with a confident, encouraging tone. Show me a
> preview and give me the Pictory project link so I can make final edits.

**1. Describe your video**

Tell Claude the topic, audience, and style you have in mind. Ask for motion graphics, or
choose that option when Claude asks which type of video you want.

**2. Set the direction together**

Choose a Brand Kit 2.0 from Pictory 3.0 or None, then settle the media preferences.
Finalize the narration, narrator, music, and scene count before Claude creates the project.

**3. Preview and refine**

Watch the preview and describe the visual changes you want. Ask for a stronger headline,
a clearer comparison, or a different color treatment.

**4. Finish where it suits you**

Ask Claude for the finished video, or open the project in Pictory 3.0 to make your own edits
and finish there.
